1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Your School platform provided by Jyoti Info Tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform.

2. Description of Service

Your School is a comprehensive school management software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform offering tools for student management, fee collection, attendance tracking, exam management, timetable scheduling, teacher management, and more. The platform is offered on a subscription basis to registered educational institutions.

3. Account Registration

To use the platform, you must:

• Register your school with accurate and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your login credentials and not share them with unauthorized parties.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be at least 18 years of age or have authority to act on behalf of the registered institution.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

• Access to the platform requires an active subscription plan.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected during registration.
• All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days prior notice to active subscribers.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform or its related systems.
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any part of the platform without express written permission.
• Use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

The platform, including its original content, features, and functionality, is and will remain the exclusive property of Jyoti Info Tech. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Jyoti Info Tech.

Data uploaded by your institution (student records, documents, etc.) remains your property. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the services.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent from individuals whose data you enter into the platform.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability of the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jyoti Info Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you during the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bihar, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-platform notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
